I’m so happy to finally be able to tell you what I’ve spent my January slaving over *victory dance*
It was just after finals, and I was wondering what I was going to do with my long break. I remembered how I had always wanted to do a lettering series, as well as introduce my love for literature at some point. I then decided to mix those two ideas together, and that’s how I came up with Love Letters 2.17.
For every day in the month of February, I’ll be posting a lettering piece of a quote about love from poetry. I’ll be posting it on Instagram, Twitter, and Tumblr using the hashtag #LoveLetters217. If you want to get the series by email, you can also sign up for it over here (which you should do, because those on the email list get some special treatment that those following on social media won’t).
While I started this project to give myself something to do during my winter break, after the recent, heartbreaking events happening in the world, I want to put this series out in the world to add a little more love to it. That’s why with each post, I’ll be putting a little prompt to make you think of something or someone that you love, and hopefully, get you to spread a little love of your own.
Lastly, if you want to add a little more love (or literature!) in your home, I’ll be putting up prints on Society6 (you can get $10 to use for your first purchase too if you click here). If you want another option for prints or if you want to get greeting cards and a whole other range of things, you can also head on over to Redbubble.
And ahh, this all begins tomorrow. It’s a little surreal to think that I’ll be finally sharing a little more love, especially my love for poetry. Poetry has always been able to warm my heart, and in this upcoming month, I hope it also warms yours.
