I’ve wrapped up the Freshman of Life series! *throws confetti everywhere* If you’d been following me since January of 2017, you would know about my Love Letters 2.17 series, and while it was fun, it was also so much repetitive work that tired me out so much I was burnt out for months. I told myself that I wasn’t going to repeat any of that this time around.
And thankfully, I didn’t! I made sure to follow the lessons that I had learned from LL217. I avoided making this one a daily thing, and I also finished my research and quote-selection before working on the next step. In fact, I tried to work on completing each step of the process before moving on to the next one, and it made the entire process much easier.
At the end of the day, I also love the chance that I got to explore serifs. I really enjoyed playing with the double-decker “g,” and I also had a lot of fun using flatlays to photograph them all. I ended up digging up a lot of unused items. Not to mention, it was also really meaningful for me to just put some tough love and encouragement out there, and hopefully, I can refer people to it at some point.
And if you got anything out of it, I would love to know what you think!
